  active jw's visiting here?

  i was just curious---.

  i assume that there are active jws that visit here.. any idea on the percent that the board has?

  does it just seem to be a very few or is it a substantial number?.

  WHY ARE ROSALEE AND RENIAA HERE?????!!!!!

  Who are we to say they shouldn't be?

  Isn't one of the reasons we left the borg was to be out of an environment where we had no freedom to talk about what was on our mind? Haven't some been kicked out for speaking their minds?

  Do we really want to foster that kind of environment here? One where only one opinion is acceptable and all others should be silenced?

  I have had people here tell me before it's better that they're here. Because the conversations that develop between them and the people here can often speak more than what we do alone.
  Perhaps they do at times dance around the issue. So what? I see it. You see it. And Allllll the other people in net world who are looking for information can see it too

  And if they are willing to stay.....heh, perhaps SimonPeter's board will plant a little seed

  Reni: I'm in a really bad mood tonight and your response really just perked me up.

  I have a few other things to say, but honestly, I'm tired right now. It's been a long day and my brain is sort of wired for er not niceness :)

  But I will say this:
  I am GLAD you are here.

  I am glad because we live in a world where we build walls. I would rather have you and Rosalee here discussing whatever.

  I hope that for the time that JWD is online, you remain, as does Rosalee.

  i have tried to be an atheist- honestly, i have really tried.

  i have most of dawkins books and many others.

  i completely agree there has to be some evolution and obviously the fossil record in the grand canyon plus erosion shows it must be at least 600 million years old.

  Belief in God means there is belief in the Bible.

  I have to disagree.

  Belief in God does not equal belief in the bible. It depends on Which God you believe in, worship etc. A person who believes in say Zeus isn't going to believe in the Bible, and therefore would not believe in the Devil.

  I don't think it's a matter of trying to be an atheist.

  It's more of a gradual letting go of God, until one day someone makes mention of God and there is simple reaction of "Nope, I don't believe that." And in the same way that you at one time felt with every fiber of your being that Jehovah was real, you now feel, believe that the opposite is true.

  That sense of struggle has come to pass and life is just good without belief.

  So perhaps you don't need to try. Just continue doing what you are doing and things will take something of a natural course.

  "i thought when we went under ban, everyone would still meet in peoples houses at the the book groups.

  now they are doing away with that arrangement, what does it all mean.?

  But I'll shorten this to two things:

  a) Good for you. You've been much, much, much stronger than what I ever could have been. I can't even begin to imagine what this has been like for you. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. Which leads me to b...

  b) This is very cool. And I hope that over the coming months, years she sees more. Perhaps one day, hopefully soon, she really just gets it, and is able to walk out with you.

  Is it basically that they applied for govt $$ to make a certain business accessible to the elderly or disabled?

  In which case, JW's use (whether morally right or not, I don't know) government funding all the time.

  That's just how it looks to me.

  Warning: Mama6 website VIRUS

  seems i am not the only one who got hit.. my computer is still acting up even after downloading more security.. within 30 seconds of clicking on mamasix website link a couple of days ago i ended up with virus.. then, within a few hours i had 7 trojan horses.. the virus was html/framer.2 .

  it is not healable.

  i locked it in vault, but some of these other attachements are still screwing with my machine.. missing link said: have you removed the pop-up viruses yet?.

  since jwd is closing down, i guess i'll be going back to the meetings..................seriously.. i will be at every ca, dc, and special day assembly.. i will also pray for you......................and i mean pray.

  some of you will get specific special prayers.. mary, i will pray for you every sunday.
